Rules, Regulations, Layout for STCC *NO RACING LINE ALLOWED*

Post  Suprfluous on Fri 09 Oct 2009, 4:55 pm

Hello all to the STCC tournament. This series consists of 3 different cars that are all similarly matched. This tournament will be taking place every weekend for six weeks. These races will be on average 20-25 laps (depending on track chosen)Each race will be run at 9:30 to 10pm eastern time sharp. If your not there you will not race, and the race if it has started and is not full, will not stop the race, let you join and start the race over again. Qualifying and a Formation lap will be done for each race. Cautions will also be used in this series. Qualifying will be determined by a time trail raced hosted by me to determine if you qualified for the race if there is more than 8 people and what place you will be starting out in. Also Qualifying will take place the day before the race.

Driver Points system goes as follows:
1st-12 points
2nd-10 points
3rd-8 points
4th-6 points
5th-4 points
6th-2 points
7th-1 point
8th-0 points

One point will be awarded for pole position.

Constructor points will be used based on what car the person was driving and where that person finished and all points by every driver will be added up accordingly.
Custom liveries are highly encouraged just brings a little more uniqueness to the series. For car tuning each car will be upgraded by my specifications and advanced tuning will be allowed to keep the competition very close. After the first race the car you drove is the car you are stuck with the rest of the series you are strictly not allowed to change! If i were anyone of you i would test each car out to know what car you want and how you will have to perform. But please i dont want 7 people with the same car against someone else with a different car. This series as all about variety. Each car will not have nitrous either. If i can tell you have nitrous no matter where you finish you will not get points. And NO RACING LINE its for babies. You guys having been playing long enough to know your marks.

I'm sure most of you already know the rules, clean racing and such. Proper upgrades for a car is a must or you will be cheating but i'm sure everyone here is more mature than that. Other than that it's all the same basic rules as for any other race. With sign-ups you can sign up after the 1st race but after the second race sign-ups are locked and no ones else can join. Those who did sign-up will be racing the rest of the series.

Ehh i personally dont like grid anymore. People are just way to fast and that game is awesomely repetitive.

i just setup an S4 and an RX-7 and i hate them both. they both drive like garbage.

i have a challenger that i kinda like so maybe that will be my car. i just don't know if it will be as quick as the other two.

Its an RX-8 not 7. I found the mazda pretty good with longer gears. The challenger is what i had to get the other 2 to get up to speed with. The S4 is very good if you can control handling and braking.
